I can't believe it, but it's my eighteenth birthday. It's kinda scary. My parents are trying to make a big deal out of it, but I think I'll just go hang at the beach all day.
At least I remembered this year. Last year I completely forgot about it, so I was very confused when some friends threw a surprise party.
On a totally different note, I think today happens to be National Barcode Day as well. Barcode Day is the day to celebrate Dark Angel. If you don't know what Dark Angel is, then you'd better check it out. It's a fantastic TV show that ran from 2000-2002 on Fox, and it was about a bunch of people (mainly a young woman, Max, a transgenic super-soldier who escaped from the military complex she was held at when she was a kid) trying to find their way through a broken world. I really loved that show, 'specially the first season. It was canceled for no apparent reason, but there are rumors that a movie's gonna be made. I'm afraid to get my hopes up, though.
