You're right in that they're not owls... They're just nocturnal and.. well... look like them. :D

Is the Honolulu zoo a good zoo?

Haha thanks! Frogmouths are great.
The Honolulu Zoo... I wouldn't call it a great zoo, but it's decent. It has very few exhibits, but those it does have are all very well done. It of course pales when compared to the San Diego Zoo that I'm used to.

Yeah, that's about what I thought. Importing large, exotic animals to the middle of the pacific can be problematic. :D
